Interfaith Ministry

Interfaith Ministry honors all spiritual paths, recognizing that there are many ways to God/Goddess, the Holy Spirit, Oneness, one's higher power, etc. Interfaith Ministry answers the call to be of service wherever Spirit leads and wherever Spirit needs. Interfaith Ministry is not dogmatic but pragmatic - a practical way to respond spiritually in a language that is recognizable to those who seek or require ministering including Atheists and those who are unsure (Agnostics). Interfaith Ministry embraces the great spiritual traditions of Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Hinduism as well as obscure and arcane traditions such as Baha'i, Wicca, Celtic, African religions and Buddhist practices. Interfaith Ministry respects, honors and validates all humankind as gifts of creation.

Spirit speaks to us in so many ways. In fact, if not for organized religions, there would probably be a religion for each individual on earth as we seek to connect with the divine source of our being. I have found that no matter what spiritual path we follow we manage to express ourselves in so many beautiful ways. From Native American practices, to obligatory daily prayers of Islam, to the ecstatic practices of Shaminism and whirling Sufi dervishes to the solemn meditation that is part of many religions we all seek the light of love. Where the human and the divine intersect, there is love. As an interfaith minister, my focus is on spirituality. Interfaith ministry creates a space to honor our uniqueness as well as our common threads. As we celebrate each other, surely we will elevate each other. So be it.
